Times Cited Count:2 Percentile:5.21(Chemistry, Physical)Photodecomposition processes of 2-, 3-, and 4-methylaniline cations induced by a moderately intense ( 10 W/cm) visible nanosecond laser field and an intense ( 10 W/cm) UV femtosecond laser field are investigated using a tandem mass spectrometer. Highly unsaturated fragment cations such as CH, CH are dominantly produced by the nanosecond laser, while less unsaturated smaller fragment cations such as CH, CH, CH are produced mainly by the femtosecond laser.
