This work shows how great a role FCC to BCC martensitic transformation can play in enhancing the mechanical properties of ferrous MEAs.

4Ag. The central hydroxides in 4Ag and 5Ag exhibit exotic physical properties due to the confined environment inside the complex. The size of these silver wheels can be tuned by changing the central anion or extracting/adding one silver atom. This study provides the facile way to synthesize discrete wheel-shaped multinuclear silver complexes and provides valuable insights into the dynamics of the self-assembly process.

電子の電子構造を調べるために、擬2次元性を持つ非磁性の重い電子系CeCoGe
Si
において、Ce 4
-4共鳴角度分解光電子分光実験を行った。今回初めて、混成した伝導バンドと同時に、いわゆる近藤共鳴と呼ばれるフェルミ準位を横切る状態の分散を持ったコヒーレントピークを直接観測した。さらに、実験で得られたバンド分散は周期的アンダーソンモデルに基づいた簡単な混成バンド描像と定性的に良い一致を示す。コヒーレント温度や、近藤温度,質量増大といった実験的に得られた物理量は、熱力学的測定での結果と同程度の大きさである。これらの結果は重い電子系のCe 4電子が遍歴的な性質を持っている証拠であり、微視的な混成機構を明らかにするものである。

原子力機構(JAEA)は、サンディア国立研究所(SNL)、韓国核不拡散・管理機構(KINAC)、韓国原子力研究所(KAERI)と共同でアジア太平洋地域における透明性向上のための情報共有フレームワーク(ISF)構築のプロジェクトを実施している。有意義で持続可能なISFを構築するためには、ISF参加者(情報の授受を行う者)の期待や懸念を含めたニーズの把握が必須である。したがって、これらの情報を収集するためにJAEA, SNL, KINAC,及びKAERIは、個別にそれぞれの機関に所属するISFの主な参加者である核不拡散専門家に対して、オンライン調査又は対面式インタビューを実施することとした。JAEAは核不拡散技術の研究開発担当者、核セキュリティ分野の実施調整担当者、及びキャパシティビルディング及びインフラ整備にかかるトレーニング実施担当者を対象として対面式調査を実施し、これまでの情報共有の経験と今後の情報共有に対するニーズの収集を行った。調査の結果、それぞれのミッションや業務において、既に多くの情報共有が行われており、将来のさらなる情報共有に対してもニーズが存在することがわかった。これら調査から得られた知見は、ISFの構築及びデモンストレーション計画に反映される。

原子力の透明性に関する議論は、核不拡散分野に限ってもさまざまな文脈において行われており、それぞれの文脈で同じような議論が繰り返されてきた。こうした背景の下、原子力機構(JAEA)は新しいフェーズで研究を進めるために、地域内の核不拡散専門家に焦点を当てた情報共有フレームワーク(ISF)に対する要求事項の検討を開始した。本検討は米国サンディア国立研究所(SNL)、韓国核不拡散・管理機構(KINAC)、韓国原子力研究所(KAERI)と共同で行われている。ISFに対する要求事項は、「各情報カテゴリーごとにPlan-Do-Check-Adjust (PDCA)サイクルを回すこと。"Plan"については、ISFの7つの主要要素を明確化することによって作成すること。」と定義された。今後、要求事項をもとに作成された"Plan"に従い、"Do"の段階で情報を収集し、情報共有のプロセスを開始する。"Check"の段階においては"Plan"において明確化された指標や方法を用いてISFの効果や効率を評価する。"Check"から得られた知見は、次のPDCAサイクルを回すための"Plan"に反映される。透明性は自主的な活動であるため、持続可能性を維持することが最も重要な課題であったが、本プロジェクトにおける要求事項は、これにしたがってISFの計画及び実施を行えば、自動的に持続可能でかつ有意義なものとなるように設計・開発された。本発表は、JAEA, SNL, KINAC, KAERIが共同で開発したISFの要求事項に焦点を当て、事例を用いながらその活用法を紹介するものである。

Since the synthesis and characterization of lithium cation endohedral metallofullerene(lic fullerene), several investigations have been performed on the application of lic fullerene to the functional materials. However, there has been no study on the application of the "lic fullerene" to the energy storage systems. In the present work, we investigated the energy storage characteristics of Li@C capacitor. The energy stored by Li@C/o-DCB capacitor was greater by several times than that stored by TBA/o-DCB capacitor under the same conditions. This result indicated that TBA ions undergo solvation and the size of the solvated TBA would be larger than that of Li@C ions. Moreover, the charging speed of Li@C/o-DCB capacitor was faster than that of TBA/o-DCB capacitor. This would originate from the shape of Li@C ion having a spherical structure.
