低次元反強磁性体物質CuMoOの中性子非弾性散乱の結果を報告する。この系の磁気励起分散関係は、交換相互作用J3による孤立ダイマーによるフラットな分散関係(Et=J3=5.8meV,図中の点線)と、鎖間相互作用を考慮した擬一次元磁性鎖の分散関係との間に、波数に依存した相互作用を働かせることで再現できる。当日は、磁気励起の分散関係のほかに、低エネルギー励起の詳細を紹介する。

Gcp was first identified in as an extracellular -sialoglycoprotein endopeptidase. Genome comparison revealed that all the free-living organisms, from bacteria to humans, possess its orthologues in an evolutionary-conserved manner. Moreover, the orthologues are highly essential in bacteria, including , and yeast, indicating that Gcp has other function(s) related to essentiality of life. The orthologues of and were deleted by replacement with antibiotic-resistant genes. Although both deletion mutants showed a little slower growth in rich media, successful gene disruption indicates that the orthologues are not essential in these bacteria. In this work we showed that orthologues of and were not essential, but the mutants showed different phenotypes, osmosensitivity and sensitivity to DNA-damaging agents, respectively.
