JAEA-Review-2024-003.pdf:4.94MB

"Fugen Decommissioning Engineering Center", in planning and carrying out our decommissioning technical development, organizes "Technical special committee on Fugen decommissioning" which consists of the members well-informed, aiming to make good use of Fugen as a place for technological development which is opened domestic and international, as the central place in research and development base of Fukui prefecture, and to utilize the outcome in our decommissioning to the technical development effectively. This report consists of presentation paper are "The current status of Fugen decommissioning", "Regarding dismantling and decontamination of steam drums", "Knowledge of radiation management in dismantling contaminated equipment", "Achievements and considerations for identifying and separating contaminated parts of nonradioactive waste" and "Regarding technology development plans for nuclear reactor dismantling" which is presented in the 41st Technical Special Committee on Fugen Decommissioning.

Ito, Kenji; Kondo, Tetsuo; Nakamura, Yasuyuki; Matsuno, Hiroki; Nagaoki, Yoshihiro; Sakuma, Yuichi

Dekomisshoningu Giho, (63), p.1 - 26, 2022/05

The prototype advanced thermal reactor Fugen entered into the decommissioning phases with the approval of the decommissioning plan in February 2008. The prototype fast breeder reactor Monju entered into the decommissioning stage with the approval of the decommissioning plan in March 2018. In April 2018, the head office of Tsuruga decommissioning demonstration was newly established to oversee the decommissioning operations in Tsuruga area, and decommissioning projects for two unique reactors have progressed safely and steadily.

Equipments integrity confirmation of fast breeder prototype reactor MONJU, 6; Function test of integrated sodium leak monitoring system

Nishibayashi, Yohei; Matsuno, Hiroki; Hatori, Masakazu

no journal, ,

The cell monitor to detect it at the early stage of the sodium leakage to an integrated leakage monitoring system and overseas heat insulation that consolidated information related to the sodium leakage to offer information on the situation of the site to the driving member in the central control room promptly when the sodium of the coolant leaked, and to support the judgement and displayed it was set up. In the check test such as integrated leakage monitoring systems, the function of this monitoring system and the cell monitor was confirmed.
