In-service inspection (ISI) is carried out to confirm the integrity of the main components of the Fast Breeder Reactor (FBR) "MONJU". The reactor vessel (RV) is the most important component of the FBR. Using the RV-ISI device it is conducted a visual test along the weld line of the reactor vessel. The inspection is carried out using a CCD camera for visual tests at elevated temperature (200 deg.) and high irradiation dose condition (10Sv/hr). Presently, the manufacture of the new device was ended and the performance test is carried out. This paper describes the result of the performance test using a mockup.

To estimate feasibility of the acoustic leak detection system for the steam generators of FBR, axis-symmetrical finite element code was developed and accoustic propagation befavior in the steam generator was evaluated by this code.
