The impact of Stellar flares on extrasolar planetary systems has been discussed and argued, especially whether there is a potential impact on their life systems. Here, we propose a comprehensive evaluation system for stellar flares, focusing on Stellar Proton Events (SPE) on selected extrasolar planets with hypothetical atmospheres and oceans. This is done by cross-linking KIC flare-observed and flare-estimated stars by their start pots that are directly linked with the Monte Carlo simulation system PHITS through the exoplanetary database system ExoKyoto. The estimated dose at ground level for each planetary surface did not exceed the critical dose for complex animals.

EBISA (Equipment Base Isolation System Analysis) code evaluates the effectiveness of seismic isolation for the important components in the seismic safety, and consists of the three codes, probabilistic seismic hazard code (SHEAT), seismic dynamic response analysis code (RESP) and seismic failure probability and frequency evaluation code. In these codes, RESP code is used for the calculation of the dynamic response behavior of a nuclear component with seismic isolation devices. This report describes the overall explanation of EBISA, and user's guide of RESP code including the analysis function, input manual and sample problem.

Aiming at studies on the latest basic science and the advancing nuclear technology, the J-PARC (Japan Proton Accelerator Research Complex) project is in progress, and the high-energy proton accelerator complex of the world highest intensity is under construction. Because of its very high beam power and its energy as well as the large-scale accelerator complex, we have encountered some difficult radiation problems in the radiation safety design. This paper reviews the radiation safety policy and methods for the design to overcome the problems on the radiation safety and the status of the radiation safety estimation for licensing of J-PARC.
