We evaluate the time-reversal invariance violation using previous neutron transmission data with polarized neutrons propagating through a transversely polarized
La. By incorporating precise spin observables and the scattering amplitudes into our analysis, we preliminarily constrained the time-reversal invariance violating cross section.

La target. We formulate the transmission asymmetry within the density matrix formalism, explicitly incorporating the forward scattering amplitude of
La including tensor polarization terms up to third-rank. The formalism is applied to existing transmission data originally obtained to measure the spin-dependent cross section near the
~eV
-wave resonance. Since these data were not optimized for P-odd/T-odd observables, the attainable sensitivity is intrinsically limited; nevertheless, they provide a useful test of the formalism on real experimental data. No statistically significant TRIV signal is observed. By analyzing the global
structure in the parameter space, we obtain an upper limit of
at the 90% confidence level. This corresponds to an upper limit on the resonance-averaged TRIV cross section of
. These results validate the present theoretical framework and provide guidance for future dedicated TRIV searches in polarized neutron transmission experiments.

In this study, various caesium compounds were analyzed using TES, demonstrating that these techniques can comprehensively evaluate the chemical states of elements. The results highlight the potential of TES for advanced chemical speciation analysis via HERFD-XANES and RXES, rapid identification of effective absorption edges for RIXS, and future applications in microbeam analysis.

Various upgrade plans of the J-PARC linac are underway, and repetition-rate doubling project is one of the most important part. Currently, the linac supplies a 400~MeV H
ion beam to the 3~GeV synchrotron (RCS) at a repetition rate of 25~Hz. However, to deliver the beam to both RCS and proton-beam irradiation facility under planning, it is necessary to raise the repetition rate from 25~Hz to 50~Hz. Prior to construction of the beamline to the irradiation facility, we conducted a verification of the 50~Hz operation of all the linac apparatus simultaneously within the current operational limits in May 2025. And also, the verification of the 50~Hz operation of the particle counter system, which is one of the most important safety device of the J-PARC accelerator, was conducted. As a result, any significant problems were not found out, and it is now ready for the upcoming 50~Hz-beam acceleration demonstration. This paper describes this details of the demonstration of the 50~Hz operation, without beam acceleration, of the J-PARC linac.

Based on the lessons learned from the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station accident, we have highly paid attention to the advancement of the fundamental technologies which are indispensable in timely response to hydrogen safety measures and assessments especially in both nuclear reactors and decommissioning. Focusing on this attention, we developed an analysis system that predicts the behavior of hydrogen from generation to diffusion, combustion and explosion. The system utilizes the commercial computational fluid dynamics software (FLUENT, AUTODYN), and incorporates new modules and pre/post-processors in order to withstand the general practical use. We also developed a system by utilizing open-source code (OpenFOAM) that can be used in hydrogen disaster prevention plans for nuclear facilities. So far, we have expanded the system to deal with the phenomena that should be considered from the practical point of view for PWR (Pressurized Water Reactor) in nuclear power plants. This report summarizes the overview of the integrated analysis system for hydrogen behavior, the handling method, and real scale analysis examples.

In modern proton accelerators, the survivability of beam-intercepting devices, such as targets, beam windows and beam dumps, under intense beam irradiation is a key factor limiting the achievement of higher beam power. This article introduces the challenges faced by the secondary particle production targets and beam windows at the Japan Proton Accelerator Research Complex (J-PARC), and the developments undertaken to overcome these challenges.

-XRF). The results identified two forms of cesium: one dissolved in glass and the other enriched on the surfaces of internal voids. The latter is considered to have originally existed as a gas and became concentrated during the cooling and solidification of the molten glass. These findings are crucial for understanding the formation process of CsMPs during the accident, as well as for future decommissioning and safety assessments.
