We have been developing neutron focusing supermirror in combination with a high performance supermirror and a precisely figured aspheric substrate. Elliptical mirror shape was fabricated by "numerically controlled local wet etching" technique. NiC/Ti supermirrors was fabricated using "ion beam sputtering" technique. The mirror achieved focused peak width of 0.128 mm and focusing gain of 52 in the peak intensity coparing with that of unfocused beam.

A focusing neutron supermirror has been developed for 1-dimensional focusing of wide-band neutron beam. The surface figure is elliptic along the long side of the mirror which is 400 mm in length and 100 mm in width.
