Accumulation of Cs by filamentous fungi have been studied to elucidate the role of filamentous fungi collected in forest in the migration of radiocesium in the environment. Without mineral in the medium, the hyphae of the filamentous fungi accumulated radiocesium. When mineral was added in the medium, concentration of Cs in the hyphae decreased and was correlated with the inverse of Kd of minerals.
