We have developed the fundamental system technology for routine
Be measurement in the JAEA-AMS-TONO for applications such as the estimation of the exposure age of basement rocks and the sedimentation rates. We have successfully achieved the optimization of the detector required for discrimination between
Be and
B and have continuously obtained measured isotope ratios consistent with the nominal ratio.

The JAEA-AMS-TONO system installed at Tono Geoscience Center of JAEA has routinely been used for
C-AMS in research into deep underground environments for R&D program related to the geological disposal of High-Level Radioactive Waste. Meanwhile, the system has also been available and used by researchers from universities and other institutes under the common-use facility program of JAEA. Recently,
Be-AMS has also been developed. In this presentation, we report to annual operation status at the fiscal year of 2012.
