Hidden order state in URu

under uni-axial stress along [100] and [110] directions is investigated. Induced space groups and order parameters under uni-axial stress are deduced based on experimental facts and group-theoretical considerations. A scheme to identify the order parameter of hidden ordering using measurements under uni-axial stress is proposed.

Ti beam impinging on
Cm target was performed at RIKEN Nishina Center. The optimal beam energy was determined from the quasielastic barrier distribution extracted from the excitation function of quasielastic backscattering. As a result, no Og decay was found, enabling only an estimation of the sensitivity for one event of 0.27 pb, and the 1
cross section upper limit of 0.50 pb.

Our primary focus is on quark fields in the magnetic dual chiral density wave (MDCDW) phase, a candidate for an inhomogeneous ground state in strongly interacting Dirac systems. In this phase, the Casimir energy exhibits intricate oscillatory behavior as a function of separation distance, stemming from the combined effects of the chemical potential, external magnetic field, and spatial modulation of the ground state. To gain a deeper understanding, we decompose the Casimir energy into individual Landau level contributions, revealing distinct types of Casimir effects depending on whether the contribution originates from the lowest or higher Landau levels. We also highlight unique features that emerge due to energy level splitting between quark flavors, such as up and down quarks.
