, are difficult to separate spectroscopically. In this review article, we summarize established and developing methodologies for identifying Mu
centers in solids, and review recent Mu studies on said centers supposedly formed in mayenite, oxygen-deficient SrTiO
, and BaTiO
H
oxyhydride.
