Hands-on activities and its role that the Kansai Photon Science Institute and the Kids' Science Museum of Photons have shared on promoting activities of science and technology understanding in the Keihanna Science City

In Keihanna Science City, various kinds of promotion activities for understanding science and technology have been mainly carried out by the Kansai Photon Science Institute and the Kids' Science Museum of Photons, while surveying an overview of contents and sharing a role. Based on (1) the approach to the concept of integration of arts and sciences and, (2) the introduction of powers of ten (POT) model (increase and decrease every 10 times) containing the concept of hierarchical segmentation and the condition of being broad in perspective, the publicity effect evaluation can be clarified and summarized on understanding and promotion activities. And furthermore, it can try to make the effective motivation to photon science due to demonstration experiments and experience-based experiments.
