no journal, ,

JAEA has started the development of Advanced Reactor Knowledge-and AI-aided Design Integration Approach through the whole plant lifecycle (ARKADIA) that performs integrated design evaluation and optimization from various viewpoints such as safety, economy, and maintainability using risk information, in order to dramatically improve the development efficiency of innovative reactors. In this paper, we report the concept of a knowledge management system to support integrated design evaluation and optimization, and the realization of the knowledge base necessary for the design and optimization of innovative reactors.

no journal, ,

In sodium-cooled fast reactors, a large number of temperature sensors are used for temperature monitoring and heater control of sodium-containing equipment. In the conventional insulation resistance measurement method for temperature sensors, preparation work such as stopping the temperature measurement function and separating from the electric board is required, and the workload also increases with increasing the number of target equipment, which has become a problem from the viewpoint of inspection period. In this study, we have developed a new temperature sensor of which insulation resistance is measurable online, and evaluated the performance by experiments.

no journal, ,

JAEA is working on the development of Knowledge Management System (KMS) to collect technical information on fast reactor development so far and to utilize the information. This paper reports on examples of the use of technical and as-built data of the sodium test facility "PLANDTL-II" from the perspective of facility operation and technology transfer.

Development of a method for extracting maintenance preconditions by using the graph structure and application to maintenance scheduling

Hashidate, Ryuta; Kondo, Yuki; Yada, Hiroki; Takaya, Shigeru; Enuma, Yasuhiro

no journal, ,

In this study, we propose a new method for extracting maintenance preconditions. Graph structures are used to represent relationship among SSCs. Maintenance preconditions are extracted by analyzing the graph structures. Furthermore, we propose an automatic maintenance scheduling method using extracted maintenance preconditions. Design issues could be extracted based on the created maintenance schedule. A simple example is presented to illustrate the proposed method.
