Redox behavior of cytochrome c3 on the polyelectrolyte modified electrode and U(VI) reduction

Redox behavior of cytochrome c3 (cyt. c3) on the polyelectrolyte modified electrode was investigated by concurrent measurements of SOWG spectra and cyclic voltammetry. These measurements suggest that cyt. c3 desorbed from the elctrode as cyt. c3 was reduced. In the presence of U(VI), an electorcatalytic reduction of U(VI) by cyt. c3 was observed.
