In order to know the background radiation level where the area affected by the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant accident in 2011, terrestrial gamma rays had been measured by using portable germanium detectors repeatedly from 2013 through 2019, at 370 locations within 80 km radius area centered on the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant. Radioactive concentrations of Uranium 238, Thorium 232, Potassium 40 and kerma rates in air due to terrestrial gamma rays were obtained at those locations based on the method of ICRU report 53. Averaged concentrations of $$^{238}$$U, $$^{232}$$Th and $$^{40}$$K were 18.8, 22.7, 428 Bq/kg, respectively, and kerma rate in air over the area was found to be 0.0402 $$mu$$Gy/h. The obtained kerma rates in air were compared to those reported in literatures. It was confirmed that the data were correlated with each other, and were agreed within the range of their uncertainty. This is because the kerma rate in air due to terrestrial gamma rays is depend on geology. The similar trend to previous findings was observed that the kerma rate in air at locations geologically classified as Mesozoic era, Granite and Rhyolite were statistically significantly higher than the others.

Cyberattacks causing serious damage are ongoing as seen in the incidents such as personal information leakage from the Japan Pension Service by unauthorized access in 2015, and a massive ransomware infection across the world in 2017. Recently, threats in the cyberspace has been growing, such as sending an order form, shipping notification, while pretending a real company to persuade recipient to open an attached file with embedded unforeseen malware, or to click on a link in the email to malicious website. In these circumstances, the information security countermeasures are important issues at the JAEA. CCSE therefore is striving to promote proactive information security countermeasures with the three aspects of (1) Maintenance of the information security regulations, (2) Countermeasures with information security products having a new protection technology, (3) Implementation of information security education and training for the employees to maintain and improve their ability to respond. This report is a summary of the contents of the information security education by e-learning.

We conducted a monitoring and mapping of the radioactive substances distribution around the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant. In the area of 80 km radius from Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant, ${it In-situ}$ measurements with portable Germanium detectors were conducted at approximately 380 points, and measurements with sureveymeters were done at approximately 6500 points. Newly acquired data were compared to the results obtained by the first or second investigation campaign in 2011.

The results of air dose rates measured by survey meters and ${it in-situ}$ $$gamma$$ spectrometry implemented as a fourth distribution investigation campaign in 2013 are to be introduced. In addition, spatial distribution of ratio of deposited Cs-134 and Cs-137 based on results of second campaign in 2011-2012 will be discussed.

The distribution of radioactive cesium were examined by man borne survey method by using KURAMA-II monitoring system. The correlation between the air dose rate measured by man borne survey method and the air dose rate measured by survey meters at 1 m above ground were examined. The correlation between the air dose rate measured by man borne survey method and the air dose rate measured by car borne survey were examined.

Distributions of air dose rate and inventory of radioactive cesium deposited on ground were investigated in 2013, within 80-km radial area centered around the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant. We revealed the characteristics of the time-dependent change of the air dose rate and the inventory by comparison with the measurement results of the past investigations.
