使用済燃料取扱施設の遮蔽安全性評価コードシステム、同データライブラリィの検証実験計画に基づき、BWR使用済燃料集合体とこれを収納した使用済燃料輸送キャスクを用いて「キャスク形状評価のための実験」を実施した。この実験は使用済燃料輸送キャスクの遮蔽解析コード、同データライブラリィを総合的に評価、検討し、必要な改善を計るためのベンチマークデータを取得することを目的とするもので、燃料集合体1体、および2体収納した輸送キャスクについてガンマ線、中性子の測定を行なった。本報告書では、測定値の他、実験の条件・方法、検出器の特性、測定結果のまとめが述べられている。
