ベントナイトの変質(Ca型化)および体積変化(膨潤)が、その力学的・水理的性能に及ぼす影響を把握することを目的として、一連の室内試験を実施し、ベントナイトの力学的・水理的性質の変遷に関するデータを体系的に取得した。また、これらの挙動を解析的に考慮するためのモデルを試作した。

Series of laboratory tests were conducted to investigate the effect of 1)cation exchange of Na-bentonite for Ca ion, and 2)the swelling behavior of bentonite, on its mechanical and hydraulic properties.
