Application of the micro-pixe technique for analyzing arsenic in biomat and lower plants of lichen and mosses around an arsenic mine site, at Gunma, Japan

Concentrations of As, Fe, Si and S contained in the biomat formed in surface-water at arsenic mine have been measured at TIARA facility of JAERI. It is obtained that As and Fe are accumulated in the biomat.
