本報告書は、昭和52年4月初臨界を達成して以来、順調に運転を継続している高速実験炉「常陽」の電源設備の運転経験についてまとめたものであり、昭和63年12月31日までに得られた主な結果は下記のとおりである。(1)「常陽」建設以来の昭和48年10月から昭和63年12月31日までに使用した電力量は、371,290,600kWHである。(2)原子炉の状態別による平均電力は、次のとおりである。1.原子炉運転中約4,460kW 2.原子炉停止中約3,350kW 3.原子炉定検中約3,000kW(3)外部商用電源喪失は計10回あった。その内訳は、原子炉運転中に8回、原子炉停止中、定検中各1回である。

JOYO has been operated smoothly since the initial criticality in 1977. This report describes the actual operation experience of JOYO electric power supply system till Dec. 1988. Major results obtained from operation experience are as follows. (1)Accumulated electric power: 371,290,600 kWh (Oct. 1973-Dec. 1988) (2)The average electric power consumption of several reactor conditions. (a)Operation : about 4,460kW (b)Shut Down : about 3,350kW (c)Periodic Inspection : about 3,000kW (3)Number of loss of external electric power : total 10 times in the following items. (a)Operation : 8 times (b)Shut Down and Periodic Inspection : 2 times
