FBRの実用化に向けて、大型炉炉心の核設計精度を向上させ、高性能な炉心をより合理的に設計できるようにすることは、重要な研究開発項目の一つである。これまでの研究では、JUPITER等の臨界実験の成果を最大限有効に反映した修正炉定数を開発し、大型炉炉心の核設計精度の大幅な向上が達成された。さらに「常陽」等の豊富な実機燃焼データ及び温度データをも有効に活用して、大型高速炉実機の燃焼核特性及び温度核特性の設計予測精度をもさらに向上させるために、燃焼特性及び温度核特性の感度係数計算・炉定数調整及び設計精度評価を行えるシステムの整備を行ってきた。本作業の結果、基礎理論式の開発・改良や大型炉への適用による性能確認など、システムの基本的な機能については一応整備できたが、これらのコードシステムをリサイクル炉やFBR実証炉などの実機の設計作業において使用するためには、解析モデル、解析効率の観点から改良を加える必要がある。そこで本研究では、これまで蓄積してきた成果を発展させ、実機高速炉の設計作業において、汎用的ツールとして使用できる総合的な設計精度評価システムの整備を行った。

To develop nuclear design of LMFBR cores, they are important subjects of research and development to improve the accuracy in nuclear design of large LMFBR cores and to design highly efficient core more rationally. The adjusted nuclear cross-sections library had been made by being reflected the result of critical experiment of the JUPITER, etc. effectively as much as possible. And the distinct improvement of the accuracy in nuclear design of large LMFBR eores had been achieved. And the computer codes for analyzing sensitivity coefficients of burnup and temperature characteristics, adjusting cross-sections library and estimating the accuracy in nuclear design had been prepared to improve the prediction accuracy for burnup and temperature characteristics using many burnup and temperature data of "Joyo", etc. effectively. In the study, basic preparation of computer system had done by developing and improving the basic theoretical formula and confirming applicability of the system for large LMFBR. But, the system needed to be improved in the points of calculating model and efficiency of calculation to use for design work of the recycle reactor, Demonstration FBR, etc.. Therefore in this work, the total system for estimating the accuracy in nuclear design was prepared by improving present computer codes. The results are as follows: (1)The computer code to calculate sensitivity coefficients was made possible the three-dimensional calculation and relational system was improved. (2)The validity of the three-dimensional calculation was confirmed by comparing sensitivity coefficients which were calculated by three and two dimensional calculation model and by direct method. (3)The design to make usable system for estimating the accuracy was done by reviewing the whole of present system, for example, I/O data between computer codes, input method of geometric data, etc..
