Long-Term Operation of EM-ACROSS and Derived Transfer Function in the Diffusion Field Region

数百Hz以下の周波数帯における電磁アクロスを1年間以上に亘り連続試験観測を行ったのでその試験観測結果を報告する。試験観測では、地下構造に関する情報を含む伝達関数がよい精度で求められた。また1ヶ月間の観測結果からは、降雨に相関した変動が見られた。

We have developed and tested a new electromagnetic sounding method, which is called EM-ACROSS (ElectroMagnetic - Accurately Controlled Routinely Operated Signal System). This system is designed for the survey below 500 Hz. We carried out a field test using this system at Tono area, and acquired very accurate transfer function between the source and receiver which the distance is about 700 m. From the phase of the transfer function for a month, we can see the correlation with the rainfall.
