Sorption Behavior of Cs onto Bentonite Colloid

ベントナイトコロイドに対するバッチ式収着試験及び脱離試験を行った。収着はFreundlich型収着等温式で表され、分配係数は約20m$$^{3}$$/kgと粉末状ベントナイトより大きかったが、薄いシート状のコロイド形状の影響が考えられた。脱離試験でも同程度の分配係数が得られたことから、収着したCsのうち少なくとも30%程度は可逆的に収着していることが分かった。

The batch sorption and desorption experiments of Cs onto bentonite colloid were carried. The sorption data was fitted to Freundlich isotherm and distribution coefficient was obtained as about 20 m$$^{3}$$/kg, which is larger than that of powdered bentonite. It might be caused by the difference of the shape of bentonite. In the desorption experiment, almost same distribution coefficient was obtained so that, at least, 30% of Cs was sorbed reversibly.
