Field-induced incommensurate order in frustrated spin ladder

フラストレーションのあるスピン1/2スピンラダー系について、数値的厳密対角化と有限サイズスケーリングを用いて理論的に解析した。その結果、フラストレーションが十分強い場合には、磁場中で非整合長距離秩序を持つ新しい相が出現する可能性のあることが判明した。

The =1/2 frustrated spin ladder is investigated by the numerical exact diagonalization and the finite-size scaling. It is found that if the frustration is strong enough, a possible new phase with an incommensurate long-range order would appear in magnetic field.
