Upgrade of beam diagnostics in LEBT and MEBT of J-PARC LINAC

J-PARC LINACのLEBT及びMEBT区画でのビーム診断系の改良を行った。3つのビーム電流モニター,2つのビーム位相モニターを増設した。LEBTとMEBT区画は、機器が密に設置されており、モニターの追加には機器同士を直接溶接するなどの工夫が必要である。ビーム診断系の改良についての詳細を報告する。

In the J-PARC LINAC, upgrade of beam diagnostics of LEBT and MEBT is taken. Three beam current monitors and two beam phase monitors are added. In the LEBT and MEBT section, large number of accelerator devices are placed. Therefore to save the space, several modifications are needed, for example, additional monitors need to be welded with each other. Those details of the upgrade of beam diagnostics system are described.
