Development of FBR fuel disassembly and pin bundle chopping technology, 3; Results of basic laser cutting test during 2006JFY

In order to develop future FBR nuclear fuel disassembling technology, and in order to acquire the fundamental laser cutting knowledge, various laser cutting experiments have been done. In comparison with the present technology, it has been concluded that the laser cutting could be applied to chop the nuclear fuel assembly components finely.
