Underground structure of Tsukiyoshi fault in the Tono area, Central Japan; What is the feature of reverse fault in granitic regions ?

逆断層の地下構造については、比較的厚い新第三紀堆積岩中に分岐断層や副断層が発達することがよく知られている。一方、花崗岩地域の逆断層については、分岐等の構造はよくわかっていない。本研究では、地質断層である月吉断層を事例として、過去の断層活動によって形成され、累積された地層変位を、稠密なボーリングデータをもとに解析した。その結果、月吉断層の分岐断層は認められなかった。

The spray faults are developed in the sedimentary rocks in the reverse fault zone in North East Japan. On the other hand, fault structure of the granite region is not understood well. In this research, the Tsukiyoshi fault is investigated as a case study, using core data. As a result, the spray fault of the Tsukiyoshi fault is not recognized.
