ナトリウム冷却高速炉の大口径エルボ配管部における流動解析評価手法の構築を目的とし、既往水流動試験を対象にCFDコードのレイノルズ応力モデル(RSM)を用いた非定常解析を行い、適切な解析オプションの検討と解析結果の妥当性を確認した。

Applicability of U-RANS approach with RSM using commercial CFD code (STAR-CD) to the flow through the short-elbow was examined. Before the discussion of the hydraulic phenomena, appropriate numerical options in the current version of the STAR-CD were checked, comparing with the experimental results of velocity profiles and pressure fluctuation. Using the appropriate numerical options for U-RANS approach, numerical simulation for the 1/3-scaled water experiment simulating the hot-leg piping of the JSFR was conducted.
