J-PARC 1MWパルス核破砕中性子源の概要を解説するとともに、放射化分析を研究テーマとするユーザーに向けてJ-PARC中性子源ではどのような性能の中性子ビームが利用可能であるかを述べ、将来のJ-PARC利用を促す記事である。

This article reviews the pulsed spallation neutron source at J-PARC. Neutron beam charercteristics available at the neutron source are described to encourage neutron beam uses in a field of activation analysis for future use of J-PARC.
