Novel concept of nuclear transmutation

Novel method of nuclear transmutation, which utilizes production of -hypernuclei of actinides, will be presented. It may give rise to a new nuclear transmutation mode in which long-lived fission products originating from the heavy fission fragments are not produced at all due to decay of particle in the heavy fragment.
