支持体の表面状態が蒸発乾固線源の$$alpha$$線放出率に及ぼす影響

蒸発乾固法によって作成した$$alpha$$線源を用いて、支持体の表面状態が$$alpha$$線放出率に影響を及ぼすことを実験で示した。平滑度の低い支持体では、表面の窪みに核種が保持されることにより$$alpha$$線のエネルギー損失を生じるだけでなく、結果として$$alpha$$線放出率に減少をも引き起こされることが示唆された。

The present study demonstrates that surface conditions of the support would affect $$alpha$$-particle emission rates of direct evaporation sources. It was suggested that the support with rough surface possibly caused energy attenuation of $$alpha$$ particles emitted by the nuclides being trapped in valleys on the surface and occasionally some decrease of emission rates.
