Ultra-low Pt-loaded electrodes prepared by irradiation-induced reduction for application in fuel cells

To prepare a high performance catalyst layer with low platinum nano-particles loading, radiation-induced reduction of Pt ions in a mixture of carbon materials and water solution was carried out. Furthermore, the fuel cell performance of the catalyst layer prepared by the different conditions was investigated in detail.
