高レベル放射性廃棄物の地層処分事業における地質環境調査計画を策定するうえで重要となる地質環境モデルの構築の考え方を、岐阜県東濃地域,北海道幌延地域,幌延沿岸域における地質環境調査事例をもとに整理した。具体的には、文献調査を想定した情報を用いた地質環境モデル構築領域の設定と、地質環境モデルのうち地質モデルと地下水流動モデル構築についての考え方を整理し、作業の流れをフロー図を用いて整理するとともに、各作業に必要な文献調査で取得できる情報を抽出した。さらに、この流れの中の各作業において必要となる意思決定プロセスについても分析・整理し、エキスパートシステムを作成した。

In this study, the work-flows of (1) the setting of area for modeling of geological environment, (2) geological modeling and (3) groundwater flow modeling, which are to be used for planning of site characterization, have been summarized based on the technical know-how accumulating from Mizunami Underground Research Laboratory Project and Horonobe Underground Research Laboratory Project. The decision-making process on the modeling has been also summarized, and expert systems for the modeling have been developed.
