Numerical estimation of Ohmic loss of high power wideband diplexer for ECCD system

The high power wide band diplexer was designed and fabricated as a fast switching device for ECCD system. The switching operation was confirmed by numerical simulations and by low power tests. The new type short slotted metal plates were adopted as half mirrors in a diplexer. The high order diffractions were observed because of the periodical slot structure in a lengthwise direction. Non-periodical short slotted metal half mirrors will be tested in near future.
