中性子照射された低放射化フェライト鋼でTaC析出物の消失が見いだされ、その強度特性に対する影響が懸案となっている。その鉄中の照射下TaC析出物挙動を把握するため、Fe-Ta-Cモデル合金に対してイオン照射実験を行い、TaC析出物の照射下安定性の検証を行った。

Precipitates are the key microstructures for the mechanical properties of reduced activation ferritic/martensitic (RAFM) steels, and the stability of those precipitates is essential to use RAFM for high temperature and high dose application. In this study, precipitation behavior of TaC and its stability under irradiation were studied to understand basic mechanism of those MX precipitation behaviors under irradiation.
