原子力機構では、調査データに基づいて、山林森林からの放射性セシウムの移動を予測し、これに起因する除染済みエリアの線量率の再上昇や、生活用水源への混入等に対する技術情報や対策案等を提供することを目的として、福島長期環境動態研究(F-TRACEプロジェクト)を進めている。本報では、本研究全体の概要について報告する。

JAEA is now performing the project on long-term assessment of transport of radioactive contaminant in the environment of Fukushima (F-TRACE project), of which the purpose is to predict the transport of radiocaesium from mountainside forests leading to possible increase of dose rate of decontaminated area or contamination of fountainhead, and to propose countermeasures to avoid them. This report summarizes outline of the project.
