J-PARCに設置されるたんぱく質専用中性子回折装置のための2次元シンチレータ中性子検出器の開発を開始した。発表では当該検出器への要求性能や試作検出器の基礎実験結果について報告する。

We have initiated the development of the two-dimensional scintillator neutron detector for a protein diffractometer. The diffractometer is planned to be built in the J-PARC/MLF near future. We propose the detector designs that could fulfill the required specification for the instrument together with some basic experimental results.
