リチウムK発光高感度分光計測のための軟X線高効率回折格子の設計

本研究では、電子顕微鏡に搭載した平面結像回折格子分光器で高感度Li-Kスペクトル計測を実現するために、標準的な表面物質であるAu膜の上に高密度ダイヤモンドライクカーボン(DLC)膜(密度: 3.1g/cm$$^{3}$$)を付加し、回折効率の向上を目指したAu/DLC多層膜回折格子の設計を行った。ラミナー型回折格子(刻線密度: 1200本/mm、デューティ比: 0.3、溝深さ: 25nm、基板: SiO$$_{2}$$)の表面物質がAu及びAu/DLCである場合を考えた。入射角が80$$^{circ}$$のときの回折効率(1次光)の波長依存性を調べた結果、Au/DLC多層膜回折格子の回折効率は、Au回折格子に比較してLi-K線付近で約1.4倍になるだけでなく、20$$sim$$190eVに渡る幅広い領域で高い回折効率を示すことが分かった。

In this study, in order to realize high sensitivity Li-K spectra measured in the plane imaging grating spectrographs equipped with the electron microscope, we designed Au/DLC multilayer diffraction gratings, i.e., the gratings are coated by dense diamond-like carbon (DLC) layer having a density of 3.1g/cm$$^{3}$$ on standard Au coating, to improve the diffraction efficiency. We assumed that the laminar grating is of groove density: 1200 lines/mm; duty ratio: 0.3; groove depth: 25 nm (or aspect ratio: 0.03). The results indicated that the maximum diffraction efficiency of the 1st-order light was obtained at the incidence angle of 80$$^{circ}$$., and the value was 1.4 times at 54.3 eV as well as a higher diffraction efficiency over a wide energy region of 20-190 eV was obtained compared to the case of a standard Au coated grating.
