放射光をプローブとする廃棄物溶融処理の化学状態分析

高温で処理した粘土鉱物・土壌試料と溶融スラグ中に浸した耐火物の中のセシウムの化学状態をXAFS分析によって調べた。イライトとバーミキュライトでは、吸着されたセシウム周りの配位構造は異なるが、高温では同じような構造を取ることが分かった。耐火物中に浸透し蓄積されたセシウムの配位構造は、スラグ中のセシウムとは異なっていた。耐火物中のセシウムのEXAFS関数は、セシウムを吸着した粘土鉱物を溶融固化させた試料中のセシウムの関数とほぼ一致していた。

Chemical states of cesium in clay minerals heat-treated at a high temperature and in refractory material which was immersed in molten slag were investigated by X-ray absorption fine structure (XAFS) analysis. Although the coordination structure of adsorbed cesium was different between illite and vermiculite, it became the similar structure at the high temperature each other. The chemical state of cesium accumulated in the brick was clearly different from that in slag. The EXAFS function obtained from the brick was almost the same as that of the molten clay minerals containing cesium.
