核データに関しては元々「核データ学」という学問は存在せず、原子核物理や原子核工学科の測定研究を行っている研究室からの人材供給に頼ってきた。このため、原子力研究開発の最も基礎・基盤的部分に位置する核データの供給に関し、現状はその技術継承及び人材育成に「赤信号」が灯っていると言える。シグマ特別専門委員会では、人材育成の一つの方策として、核データチュートリアルを提唱し、現在核データ部会が主催する「核データ研究会」に引き継がれている。しかし、網羅的, 俯瞰的な「核データ学」視点からの系統的な人材育成に繋がっていない。このため、シグマ特別研究委員会における検討の中間的な報告として、核データに関する教科書作成及び戦略的な人材育成について概要を講演する。

The academic subject of "nuclear data" is not learned in universities, and researchers on nuclear data have been supplied from the fields of nuclear physics and/or nuclear engineering. The production of nuclear data file, which is one of the most fundamental databases for research and development of nuclear energy applications, cannot obtain enough human resources. Japanese Nuclear Data Committee, namely "Sigma" Committee, considering to solve this issue continuously, for example, performing tutorial session in nuclear data symposium. However, it is still far from exhaustive point of view. This report introduces strategic plan of fostering human resources and production of a suitable textbook for nuclear data.
