J-PARCチョッパー分光器四季におけるフェルミチョッパーの高度化

J-PARC物質・生命科学実験施設のチョッパー型分光器四季では、2014年まで米国SNSから借用したフェルミチョッパーを使用していたが、このたび、スリット部の設計を見直した新しいフェルミチョッパーを製作し、2015年3月から運用を開始した。同一条件下で旧型のフェルミチョッパーと強度を比較すると、低エネルギー領域において数十倍にも及ぶ強度ゲインを達成することに成功した。本発表では、新型フェルミチョッパーの仕様や設計に関する詳細について報告する。

The chopper spectrometer 4SEASONS at J-PARC MLF had used a Fermi chopper borrowed from the SNS facility until 2014. A new Fermi chopper which reviewed the design of the slit package has recently started operation. As a result, we have succeeded in achieving the intensity gain up of to several tens of times in the low-energy region. In this presentation we will report the details of spec and design of a new Fermi chopper.
