政策研究大学院大学では、高度な行政専門家及び研究者養成を目的とした講義を実施している。本講義では、主にエネルギー政策に関する講義を行っており、本資料はその内の原子力政策の講義の一環として、原子炉の研究開発の流れと、各炉型のメリット・デメリット、そしてそれらを踏まえた上での各国での原子炉の研究開発の現状について説明を行う。講義の内容は次の通りである。(1)原子力発電の概要、(2)原子炉の炉型とその特徴、(3)ウランの有効利用、(4)日本の核燃料サイクル、(5)各国の原子力研究の動向

The national graduate institute for policy studies (GRIPS) is an international premier policy school with the aim of contributing the betterment of democratic governance around the world. This lecture explains the energy policy. This presentation explains the development of nuclear power reactor and features of each reactor and nuclear energy development in the world. Contents of this presentation is as follows: (1) About nuclear power generation, (2) Type of nuclear reactor, (3) Efficient use of uranium, (4) Nuclear fuel cycle of Japan, (5) Nuclear energy development of each country.
