本発表では、国際放射線防護委員会(ICRP)第2専門委員会の最近の活動について報告する。2016年の主な活動として、2月の第2専門委員会シンポジウム(東京)、9月の第2専門委員会会議(オックスフォード)が挙げられる。第2専門委員会シンポジウム「ICRP Symposium on Radiological Protection Dosimetry」では、ICRPが現在取り組んでいる線量係数改訂のための一連の活動を紹介するとともに、今後必要な研究について議論した。第2専門委員会会議では、出版が予定されているICRP刊行物「「線量計算用ファントムの開発」、「作業者・公衆に対する内部被ばく線量係数」、「実効線量の使用に関するガイダンス」、「環境放射性核種に対する線量換算係数」の作成状況と今後の予定、国際放射線単位・測定委員会(ICRU)と協力して進める線量測定の実用量に関する検討を行った。

This presentation reports an overview of recent activities of the Committee 2 of the International Commission on Radiological Protection (ICRP) after its meeting held in Seoul, October 2015. The Committee 2 organized a symposium entitled "ICRP Symposium on Radiological Protection Dosimetry" in Tokyo, February 2016. The symposium aimed at reviewing the current work of ICRP and discussing research needed for the ICRP System of radiological protection dosimetry. The Committee 2 had its annual meeting in Oxford, the United Kingdom, September 2016. The committee reviewed progress of the development of ICRP Publications on development of computational phantom, dose coefficients for occupational and public intakes of radionuclides, use of effective dose as a risk-related radiological protection quantity, age dependent dose coefficients for external environmental exposures, and so on. Collaboration with the International Commission on Radiation Units and Measurements (ICRU) on revision of the operational dose quantities was also discussed.
