原子炉内中性子による放射化量導出における試料位置の影響評価

原子炉内中性子による放射化量を高精度に決定するための基礎研究として、JRR-3のHR-1照射孔における中性子束の照射位置依存性を、MVP-3を用いて計算した。計算結果に基づき、照射試料と中性子束をモニターするための金属箔との位置のずれが、放射化量導出に与える影響を評価した。この結果、熱外中性子成分について有意な効果が確認された。放射化量評価や中性子断面積導出に与える影響について議論する。

As a basic research to accurately perform the activation experiment by the neutrons in the nuclear reactor, the irradiation position dependence of the neutron flux in the HR-1 irradiation hole of JRR-3 was calculated using MVP-3. Based on the calculation results, the influence of the deviation of the position of the metal foil for monitoring the neutron flux and the irradiated sample on the activation amount was evaluated. As a result, a significant effect was confirmed, and findings were obtained to enhance the method of deriving activation amounts and neutron cross sections.
