原子炉内のCs分布や環境中へのCs放出量に影響を及ぼす可能性がある鋼材へのCsの化学吸着挙動や格納容器内の配管に多く用いられている保温材とCsとの化学的相互作用について、これまでの研究例を紹介するとともに、今後の課題について講演する。

In this lecture, research on the chemisorption behavior of Cs onto steels, which could affect the Cs distribution within the nuclear reactors and the amount of Cs released into the environment, and research on the chemical interaction between Cs and a thermal insulation material used for piping in the primary containment vessel will be explained and future issues on these researches will be discussed.
