炭化ホウ素(B$$_{4}$$C),ホウ化鉄(FeB)とステンレス鋼(SS)を1250$$^{circ}$$Cで共晶溶融させ、反応生成物の同定とその分布状況を三次元ラマン分光分析により分析した。いずれの場合もB$$_{4}$$C, FeBの周囲にCr$$_{2}$$O$$_{3}$$を主成分とする領域、さらに外周にFe$$_{3}$$O$$_{4}$$等を主成分とする領域が形成されることがわかった。

Boron carbide (B$$_{4}$$C), iron tetraboride (FeB) and stainless steel (SS) were eutectic-melted at 1250$$^{circ}$$C., and the reaction products were identified and their distribution was analyzed by three-dimensional Raman spectroscopy. In each case, it was found that a region containing Cr$$_{2}$$O$$_{3}$$ as a main component was formed around B$$_{4}$$C and FeB, and a region containing Fe$$_{3}$$O$$_{4}$$ as a main component was formed on the outer periphery.
