Reflections on nuclear accident of Tokyo Electric Company Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station

Eleven years have passed since the nuclear accident of Tokyo Electric Company Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station. Environmental cleanup of lands contaminated with radionuclides and station cleanup including dismantling of crippled reactors have been progressing slowly but steadily. The unprecedented accident left a variety of lessons to the following generations. The speaker resents reflections and how Fukushima is now, based on the experiences involving in emergency responses after the accident. The speaker hopes the talk helps the young audience get inspired to consider their potential contributions to the future.
