JRR-3に設置された即発線分析装置(PGA)は、ロボットの導入によって完全に自動化されているが、今年になって更なる高度化が進行しており、ヘリウムガス回収システムと液体窒素自動供給システムが開発中である。さらに、測定プログラムを自ら開発中であり、自動分析システムとの統合を予定している。

Prompt Gamma-ray analysis system (PGA) installed in JRR-3 has been fully automated with the introduction of a robot. Further upgrading is underway this year, and a helium gas recovery system and an automatic liquid nitrogen supply system are under development. In addition, a new carbon dioxide supply system has been installed to cope with the rising cost of helium. A measurement program is being developed by myself, and is scheduled to be integrated with an automatic analysis system.
