The results are based on the fb data sample collected by the Belle experiment at the asymmetric energy KEKB collider. Only the meson is reconstructed and the missing-mass spectrum of candidates is investigated. We observe the process and find evidence for the process, while no significant signals of , , nor are found. Cross sections for the studied processes are reported.

In the semi-inclusive neutron missing-mass spectrum at , an excess of yield was observed just below the mass-threshold, which cannot be explained by any elementary reactions [PTEP 2015, 061D01]. To understand the missing-mass spectrum of He, we investigated the elementary reactions using hydrogen and deuterium targets. The missing-mass spectrum was well described by the charge-exchange reaction. However, in the spectrum, we observed an excess of yield just below the mass-threshold, which was similar to that in the He spectrum.

In addition, we report negative results from a search for hypothesized neutral () and doubly charged () isospin partners of the and provide upper limits on the product branching fractions and that are more than an order of magnitude smaller than theoretical expectations for the hypotheses that the is a member of an isospin triplet. The analysis uses a 711 data sample containing 772 million -meson pairs collected at the resonance in the Belle detector at the KEKB collider.

Several theoretical models attribute this to the existence of a "dark photon", an additional gauge boson, which is weakly coupled to ordinary photons. The PHENIX experiment at the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider has searched for a dark photon, , in decays and obtained upper limits of O(2 on - mixing at 90% C.L. for the mass range . Combined with other experimental limits, the remaining region in the - mixing parameter space that can explain the deviation from its SM value is nearly completely excluded at the 90% confidence level, with only a small region of remaining.
