This quantum spin chain is effectively described by the Tomonaga-Luttinger (TL) liquid despite the ferromagnetic exchange interaction because of the easy-plane magnetic anisotropy. This TL liquid state has an extremely strong interaction that is hardly realized in other quantum antiferromagnetic chain systems or weakly interacting electron systems. We show how the strongly interacting TL liquid affects the ferromagnetic resonance that occurs in the ferromagnetic insulator. In particular, we discuss the dependence of the Gilbert damping on the temperature and the junction length. The Gilbert damping allows us to extract information about the above-mentioned strong interaction within the quantum ferromagnetic spin chain. We also point out that a well-known compound CsCuCl will be suitable for the realization of our setup.

を添加したMOXの焼結試験を行い、焼結後の微細組織を評価した。熱膨張計を用いて取得した焼結中の収縮曲線から、模擬FP含有MOXは通常のMOXよりも高温で焼結が進むことが分かった。焼結後の密度評価及び金相組織の観察から、模擬FP含有MOXは通常のMOXよりも粒成長と高密度化が進むことが分かった。これは、添加元素の影響を受けて一部のUが4価から5価に変化し、拡散速度が大きくなったことが原因と考えられる。また、XRDの結果から焼結後の試料は均質に固溶した結晶構造が示されたが、EPMAによる元素マッピングの結果からは模擬FPの濃度が一様でなく、完全には均質に分布していない微細組織が示された。不均質に分布したNd
O
含有MOXを微粉砕し、再焼結を行う過程を繰り返すことで、均質性が向上し、密度も十分に高い模擬FP含有MOXペレットを作製することができた。

In particular, spin and current densities in the 2DEG in which both Rashba and Dresselhaus spin-orbit interactions coexist are formulated, and their dependencies on ferromagnetic resonance frequency and orientation of the spin in the FI are clarified. It is shown that spin density diverges when the ratio between the Rashba and Dresselhaus spin-orbit interactions approaches unity, while current density stays finite there. These results can be applied for evaluating spin splitting on the Fermi surface in a 2DEG and designing spintronic devices using IREE.

By employing the bosonization method, we formulate the Gilbert damping induced by the FI/CNT junction, which can be measured by ferromagnetic resonance. We show that the increase in the Gilbert damping has a temperature dependence characteristic of a Luttinger liquid and is highly sensitive to the Luttinger parameter of the spin sector for a clean interface. We also discuss the experimental relevance of our findings based on numerical estimates, using realistic parameters.

This rotational noise includes useful information on angular momentum transfer from the magnetization to the rigid-body rotation, such as the unit of angular momentum per one spin relaxation process. We formulate the rotational noise in terms of the Lindblad equation, which describes the quantum stochastic process, and estimate it in the case of realistic experimental parameters. We show that a bifurcation phenomenon observed in our setup amplifies the noise and, therefore, can be exploited, making an accurate measurement of the rotational noise.

and deviation from stoichiometry x was analyzed, and a model of defect chemistry was proposed. Finally, the crystal structure of these mixed oxides was discussed at the light of the mechanisms of possible Nd(III)/U(V) charge compensation, and deviation from stoichiometry.

The Gilbert damping in the FI is enhanced by elastic spin-flipping or magnon absorption. We show that the Gilbert damping due to elastic spin-flipping is strongly enhanced by the vertex correction when the ratio of the two spin-orbit interactions is near a special value at which the spin relaxation time diverges while that due to magnon absorption shows only small modification. We also show that the shift in the resonant frequency due to elastic spin-flipping is strongly enhanced in a similar way as the Gilbert damping.

We show that two stable solutions appear in a certain range of parameters by bifurcation when the rotation frequency is comparable to the microwave frequency. This phenomenon originates from the coexistence of the Barnett and the Einstein-de Haas effects. We also reveal that this measurement is sensitive to the strength of the spin-rotation coupling. Our work provides a platform for accessing a microscopic relaxation process from spin to macroscopic rotation.

The detection of elementary carriers in transport phenomena is one of the most important keys to understand nontrivial properties of strongly correlated quantum matter. Here, we propose a method to identify the tunneling current carrier in strongly interacting fermions from nonequilibrium noise in the Bardeen-Cooper-Schrieffer to Bose-Einstein condensate crossover. The noise-to-current ratio, the Fano factor, can be a crucial probe for the current carrier. Bringing strongly correlated fermions into contact with a dilute reservoir produces a tunneling current in between. The associated Fano factor increases from one to two as the interaction becomes stronger, reflecting the fact that the dominant conduction channel changes from the quasiparticle tunneling to the pair tunneling.

We calculate the amplitude of the SMR signal by using a quantum Monte Carlo simulation and examine how the SMR depends on the amplitude of the spin, thickness of the antiferromagnetic-insulator layer, and randomness of the exchange interactions. Our results for simple quantum spin models provide a useful starting point for understanding SMR measurements on atomic layers of magnetic compounds.

As an illustration, we consider the anisotropic Dirac system realized in bismuth to show that the Gilbert damping varies according to the magnetization direction in the ferromagnetic insulator. Our results indicate that this setup can provide helpful information on the anisotropy of the Dirac electron system.

They include the extended Onsager relations between the spin conductance and the spin-current noise that hold for nonequilibrium states driven by an external current. These relations are valid for a general setup of spin Hall magnetoresistance (SMR) when the main contribution is due to the interfacial spin conductance. Unidirectional spin Hall magnetoresistance (UMR) in insulating ferromagnetic junctions can be understood in a similar way. Therefore, our work can provide a comprehensive viewpoint for understanding of SMR and UMR in insulating ferromagnetic junctions. Our result also predicts relations for higher-order coefficients with respect to the external current in terms of higher-order cumulants in a unified framework.

The spin-rotation coupling allows this nanorotor to continuously receive angular momentum from an injected spin under steady current flow between ferromagnetic electrodes in an antiparallel magnetization configuration. We develop a quantum theory of this angular-momentum transfer and show that a relaxation process from a precession state into a sleeping top state is crucial for the efficient driving of the nanorotor by solving the master equation. Our work clarifies a general strategy for efficient driving of a nanorotor.

By performing a numerical renormalization group calculation, we show that spin current is enhanced by the Kondo effect. This spin current is suppressed by an increase in temperature or a magnetic field comparable to the Kondo temperature. Our results indicate that spin transport can be a direct probe of spin excitation in strongly correlated systems.

に対しては1,873, 1,973Kにおいて、酸素ポテンシャルの測定を実施した。測定は、熱天秤と酸素センサーを用いる気相平衡法により実施した。Uの代わりにAmを添加した場合、酸素ポテンシャルは大きく上昇した。同様に、Uの代わりにNpを添加した場合も酸素ポテンシャルは上昇したが、上昇の効果はPuやAmを添加した場合と比べても小さいものであった。酸素ポテンシャルの測定結果について、酸素分圧と定比組成からのずれをプロットし、欠陥化学により解析することで、欠陥反応の種類を推定した。推定した欠陥反応における平衡定数を評価し、AmとNpを平衡定数の中のエントロピーに組み込むことで、酸素ポテンシャルの測定結果を再現する評価式を導出した。
